Two weeks before the game releases, on October 1st, Konami and Evil Empire are releasing a demo for Castlevania: Belmont‘s Curse. It’s always a positive sign when publishers feel so strongly about their game that they’ll let potential consumers get some hands-on time before the actual release date. Capcom recently did this with Pragmata and Onimusha: Way of the Sword, two GOTY contenders right there.
So back to the demo, it will feature the opening chapter of the game. In a very popular and welcomed trend, your save data from the demo can be transferred over to the full-version of the game.
There are some guidelines around this though. See the all important details below:
- Save data from the demo can be transferred to the full version.
- The demo and full version must be played on the same platform and with the same account.
- The demo save data must be retained in order to transfer progress.
- Certain features and content may be restricted in the demo version.
- The full version must be updated to the latest version when transferring save data.
Castlevania: Belmont‘s Curse releases on October 15 on the following platforms:
PlayStation 5 | Xbox Series X|S | Xbox on PC | Steam (PC) | Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo version is a Nintendo Switch game, not a native Switch 2 release. Nintendo says it is supported on Switch 2 through compatibility.
