Update: 9/9/2026 10:55 PM EDT – Retroid has just announced the pricing for the Retroid Pocket Duo and Duo Lite, along with the RAM and internal storage configurations.

Original: Early this week Retroid starting teasing their Retroid Pocket Duo. Like clockwork, another day, another drip of content for us handheld loving fools. Today’s news was a sizeable update that warranted it’s own post.

As seen in the trailer below, Retroid has officially announced that the Pocket Duo will also have a Lite version. Clearly, they heard that one is the loneliest number, so why not a Pocket Duo and Duo Lite!

While specifications are still in flux, see the handy table down below, some details have emerged today:

• OS: Duo: Android 16 / Lite: Android 15
• Screen size: Duo: 5.5″ (top) 4.5″ (bottom) / Lite: 5.5″ (top) 4.2″ (bottom)
• Aspect Ratio: Both: 16:9 (top) 4:3 (bottom)
• Refresh rate: Duo: Dual 120Hz OLED / Lite: Dual 60Hz LCD
• Form factor: Clamshell w/180 degree free-stop hinge
• Colors: Both versions:Black, GC, 16 Bit, Ice Blue, Clear Purple
• Battery capacity: 6000mAh
• Ports: 3.5mm Audio Jack, microSD, USB-C (based on photo)
