AYN has announced the pricing, configurations, and pre-order date for the Odin 3 Portal. We now have some of the remaining details following last week’s hardware reveal.
The 7″ Android handheld will be available in three configurations, all powered by Qualcomm’s Dragonwing Q8 processor.
- Base: 12GB RAM / 128GB storage, $399 launch price ($419 retail).
- Pro: 12GB RAM / 256GB storage, $479 launch price ($499 retail).
- Max: 16GB RAM / 512GB storage, $549 launch price ($579 retail).
Pre-orders start on October 22 at 9:30 PM EDT, with launch discounts ranging from $20 to $30.
The primary differences between models are RAM and internal storage.
At $399, the Base Odin 3 Portal offers the same processor, 7″120Hz OLED display, and 9,000mAh battery as the $549 Max. The entry-level configuration will be appealing for buyers who can manage with 128GB of internal storage and a microSD card.
Additional details confirmed today include three color options (Black, White, and Cold Grey), shipping expected to begin in early November, and a one-year warranty. AYN also lists optional accessories, including a carrying case, screen protector, and TPU grip.
